Caesalpinia ferrea, known as the Leopard Tree or the Brazilian Ironwood. One of the most attractive features of the tree is its lovely mottled white and grey bark. The older bark flakes off to reveal the leopard-like spotted trunk. Flowers are abundant over the crown of the tree in Spring.
