The Bolusanthus Speciosus is certainly one of the most spectacular of our indigenous trees when in flower, mimicking the splendour of the Jacaranda. The drooping, blue-mauve, fragrant, pea-like flowers hang from the branches in bunches, often covering the whole tree. Flowering time is from Spring to early Summer.
